On Friday, May 14, a jury of representatives of Goethe-Institut San Francisco, Goethe-Institut Chicago and AATG headquarters in New Jersey determined the winners in this year's Step into German Video Contest. What a tough decision this was! Here is the jury's verdict:

Video Contest 2010 HOW TO VOTE
Pick your favorite video and cast your vote with the help of our webforms right below each video clip. Help someone win a dream vacation to Germany - the lucky winner could be sitting right next to you in German class! The five top vote getters qualify for the final round of the Step into German contest. When your voting is completed a jury consisting of jurors from the American Association of Teachers of German (AATG) and the Goethe-Institut San Francisco will pick the Grand Prize winner from the five top vote getters. The jury’s decision will be based on the video’s originality, creativity and interpretation of the theme. The production value will be a minor factor.
How do I vote? It's easy. Select your favorite music video and copy the image text. You have only one vote every 24 hours. Voting begins at 6:00 am PST on April 19, 2010 and closes at 11:59 pm PST on May 7, 2010. Voting Terms and Conditions
1. The Step into German voting service will be available from 6:00 am PST on April 19, 2010 and close at 11.59 pm PST on May 7, 2010. Any votes received outside this voting period will not be counted in the vote tally.
2. Individuals may cast numerous votes over the voting period, however only one vote per day may be cast by each individual during the voting period. All mass emails including spam or bulk emailing will be disqualified.
3.Step into German reserves the right in its absolute discretion to disqualify: (i) any votes that tamper with, or attempt to tamper with the voting process; (ii) any votes that Step into German considers manipulative, unrepresentative, or disproportionate; (iii) any individuals from voting who corrupt or affect, or attempt to corrupt or affect, the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the voting process. Step into German’s decision in this matter is final.
4. Should there be a tie for fifth place Step into German reserves the right in its absolute discretion to select the video that will progress to the final selection round. Step into German’s decision in this matter is final.
5.Step into German does not accept responsibility for any vote not received or for any delay in a vote being received due to technical disruptions, network congestion, network failures or for any other reason.
6. If, for any reason, any aspect of the voting process is not capable of operating as planned, including infection by computer virus, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical problems or system failures or disruption, or any other causes beyond Step into German's control, Step into German has the absolute discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the voting process and reserves the right to determine the five successful music videos.
7.Step into German reserves the right to modify these voting terms at any time in its absolute discretion.
